a WordPress domain is reserved(?)

  I noted that a specific WordPress domain is apparently reserved – bprc.wordpress.com – what does ‘reserved’ mean? Is there a time in which this domain would become available?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It usually means that someone signed up for an account with that username and will remain reserved.

  So, that’s all? No way to find out if someone intends to actually use it? To negotiate giving it up?

  Hello again, here’s what the notice says when you try to register that site:

  The address bprc.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Sorry, that site is reserved! But you can sign up and choose another one.

  Since WordPressdotcom usernames and sites do not expire, there is nothing further that can be done. Sorry for no better news.
