A WordPress Domains compatible with 3rd Party Themes?

  Hello,

  It only took me three hours to realize I can’t use Themeforest Avada on my WordPress.com account. Here is my question: if I buy a domain name thru WP can I THEN use this 3rd party theme, OR must I get my domain elsewhere?

  Hi there, domain names are not related in any way to themes.

  There is no upgrade that will allow you to run Avada here at WordPress.com. In order to install a third-party theme, you’ll need to run WordPress on your own hosting, which is called having a self-hosted site.
