A WP Premium question

I’m working on a new book and want to set up a site with domain name for all my writing. I love bring on WP.com but I need to be able to use iframes to create links for some of the stores that carry my ebooks (like iBooks). If I upgrade to WP Premium will I be able to use iframes in my site’s code?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress for Business does offer some e-commerce options that might work for you: http://store.wordpress.com/plans/business/ (I don’t know for sure how you are wanting to set things up, but it might be worth considering.

You might also think about whether iframes are the only option for achieving your goal. you might find that a photo and book description with an affiliate link back to the stores that carry your book do just as well.

NOTE: Authors are allowed to use an image of their book as an affiliate link; they always have been allowed to do so. There is no upgrade required at all for that. See here for details of all 3 plans http://store.wordpress.com/bundles/

WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.

Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.

NOTE: If you have a online shop with a shopping cart somewhere else online you can create a custom menu and add a custom link to it.

Thanks. I did some more looking after posting this and saw the Business service they have but I’ll look into it some more.

The problem with the iframes is that iBooks (who sells my ebooks) has a widget to create links to each of my books but I have to be able to use iframes to use it. I’m pretty sure other stores my books are in have the same kind of thing. The good news is that I rarely (if ever) have things I sell myself, I always let my distribution partners (Smashwords and Amazon) handle that.
