  Tell me how to get ‘ifpoetry’ removed from your sites. In trying to register, I changed my mind as I just wanted to be to respond to a blog on poetry. I do NOT want an account so please tell me how to delete what I’ve begun! Thanks.

  Hi there,

  If you don’t want this WordPress.com account, you can close it from the Account Settings page at https://wordpress.com/me/account

  However, consider keeping the account – having a WordPress.com account allows you to follow blogs in the WordPress.com Reader, and it lets you comment on sites using your WordPress.com profile, meaning no need to type in a name and email address to comment. It’s completely free, and you can disable all marketing emails in your account settings if you don’t want to receive those.
