Ability to add a photo field in a contact form?

  I would love to have a way my readers can submit a picture to me using a contact form. is there a work around here?

  No I’m sorry but I don’t know of one. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

  However, WordPress.com allows you and your readers to embed YouTube videos, tweets from Twitter, and PollDaddy polls directly into blog comments by simply adding a single URL into the comment text. http://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/embeds/

  Darn. I’m starting a blog where I’d love for there to be an easy way for readers to submit photos.

  Your readers can use the contact form and include a URL for any image in it. The link won’t be live but you can copy it into your top browser bar, click, capture the image and upload it into your blog.

  I have a similar problem. I’m inviting readers to send me documents. I’d like to either embed a link directly to my email (which it won’t let me do) or have contact form that allows a download. Are we sure there is no way to do this?
