ability to block a certain ip

    It would be great to be able to block visitor/s to the blog from a certain IP address. I know I can block out comments from an IP address, but I’d rather completely block out visits from the IP address.

    I’m not sure any other blog service has it though – does anyone know?

    IP addresses change regularly. My ISP has been having issues and I’ve had 30 different IP addresses from Monday.

    If they reboot their modem, or come to your site from a different IP address then you won’t catch them. I have three non-secure wi-fi networks that I can connect to from my own home so I can have four IP addresses simply by changing which connection I make active.

    We don’t offer such a feature because it would have no useful effect. Once you’ve published something it’s everywhere.
