Ability to search comments and posts from search widgets

Hi! The success of my blog is dependent upon users who comment being able to search other users comments and not just my posts. I understand that WorkPress somehow allows this from their search engine buts it clunky and not intuitive for users. Does anyone know if there is a way that people can search comments on your own blog site using the search widget? Thanks!

We cannot use widgets that have any synamic script on our free hosted wordpress.com blog with much success as the software strips the code out to provide security. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
I use Google search to search post content. The format is this one (note there is no space following the colon):
keyword site:blogname.wordpress.comI am not aware of any search widgets that can be used on wordpress.com free hosted blogs to search comments.
