Able to access the same account with multiple emails?

I can currently access my wordpress account using two different emails Ids and a user name. I changed my email but the older one is still in use? Can you suggest a way to remove it please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Both of them point to (email visible only to moderators and staff). And yet I can log in with (email visible only to moderators and staff) too…

That’s weird. Staff can see the redacted email addresses we cannot see. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

devineindia, there are no WordPress.com accounts currently associated with your old email address, so you should not be able to log in using it. Please clear your browser cache and then try using your old email address (the one letter one) to log in to WordPress.com. If you are still able to successfully log in using that address, please let us know.

Thanks for letting us know. I am looking into this matter and will let you know if I hear anything further. For the time being, you should be able to access your account as usual, and it appears that your old email addresses will work if you wish to create a separate account on WordPress.com.
