abnormal visitor traffic

  My blog has recorded abnormal visitor traffic flow since over a week ago without any known reason. Usual traffic flow per day averaged 100 visitors but now it suddenly shot up to over 1,000 visitors. It looks like spam action from computer/computers. Any one who are familiar with similar problem please advise.

  Hi there!

  While I can see a spike in views for your site, there isn’t one in the visitors. A view is counted when a visitor loads or reloads a page while a visitor is counted when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period. That being said, it doesn’t really look like spam visits. Have a look at this page to learn more about how stats are counted:

  Thanks, I have checked and find that you are right. But I feel it is abnormal and cant believe that a natural person keep visiting all my aricles many times over almost everyday. I hope their action that distort my statistics will not seriously disrupt my blog.
