  I have written a profile of my self and uploaded a photo. Both show up in the “my account” section but do not show up when I click on the “about” button on my blog site. How do I get information to appear in the “about” section?

  unfortunately the ‘my account’ information only shows up on author archives of a few themes.

  you’ll have to copy that information to your about page
  from your dashboard go to Manage > Pages
  and edit the ‘about’ entry.
