  How do I add an about page? I’m sort of new to this (sorry) but I would like to insert my profile to link from my gravatar.

  Sorry. It’s lauramcwilliams.wordpress.com, but I think I figured out a way to make an about page. I went to wordpress.com and clicked on pages and there was an ‘about’ page just waiting to be edited. Was there an easier way?

  It depends which theme you have. Some have built-in About pages, and some don’t.

  With the theme you are using, simply create a new page and title it “about” and then publish it. To have that page show up in the sidebar, you will have to add the pages widget.
