"About" at top of blog

  when I started my blog at the top under the header weren the words Home and then “About.” I don’t know if I did something or it just disappeared but the “about” is no longer there. I never really know what to put there and left it blank but have decided I need to tell those who might see my blog a little about me.
  How do I get it back?

  dashboard—>pages—>add new—>write your page (you can call it “About”)—>publish
