About bar at the top

I deleted the ‘About’, ‘Film’, ‘Event’, and ‘Home’ tabs from the theme I chose before I launched the site. However, when i visited the site I found that they were still there and accessible. But the content on them was about birds, which was the theme (not mine). How can I get rid of this?

    Hi,

I deleted the ‘About’, ‘Film’, ‘Event’, and ‘Home’ tabs

Can you please describe the steps you took in your attempt to remove these menu items?

There are three different ways to remove a menu item described in the Delete a Menu support page. The removal of a menu tem may be accomplished at the following locations:

    1. in the Site Editor, at Appearance → Editor, by editing the Navigation block
    2. in WP-Admin, at Appearance → Menus
    3. in the Customizer, at Appearance → Customize → Menus
