About becoming an affiliate

  Hi,

  I would like to become an affiliate of Craftsy, but that’s not allowed with a free hosted wordpress.com blog. Right?

  Can I somehow move the full content of my blog, without making any changes (so my blog stays the same as it is and remains the same for google search results) to wordpress.org?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t do affiliate marketing here. If, however, by “affiliate” you mean someone who makes and sells their own creations, like on Etsy, then sure you can do that here. Artists are allowed to use their blogs here to sell their own creations and you don’t have to move. Note that not all codes from sales websites will work here, though. Some are stripped out for security reasons, like the Etsy widget.

  You can if you wish go to the Tools page of your dashboard and create an Export file with your blog contents, and buy hosting somewhere, install software from WordPress.org, and import the content there. Then you change where your domain points and away you go.
