about closing account

  I have changed the email address that was linked to this acount.I want to close this account permanently.so,can i able to make a new wordpress account with that old email address?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Based on the info from the article on closing account, you can create a new WordPress.com account with the old email address, but you will not be able to use your old username.
