  When i transfer the posts and all that, is the old one completely removed automatically or do i have to shut it down manually?
  I’m asking because a few people seem to have had problems with getting all their files across, if something should go wrong in the transfer, can you just forget about it and go back to your old blog?
  Is there a limit to how many posts you can move and do you have to move them all at once or can you move a few at the time?

  You can’t shut down accounts. You can delete a blog or make it Private, which is what we normally recommend for just the reason you mention. If something goes wrong, it’s important to have a backup.

  There’s no limit, and unless something goes very wacky, you should be able to transfer everything at once.
