“About” disappeared from Rubric

I created a blog using the Rubric theme. It had an “About” heading with my name under it when I started. Now it doesn’t. Can anyone explain where it’s gone or how to get it back? Thanks.

Rubric does not have tabs at the top. You would need to add the pages widget to your sidebar.

Hmmm! Okay. Thanks. I added the pages widget and now the word “pages” shows up in the right column and the “about” page shows up under it. But when I started, it just had my name with “about” underneath it. It there some way of getting back to that? Or can the word “pages” be changed to my name? Also, is there some way of changing the color of the “pages” text? And how do you add more pages?

By the way, this Rubric theme seems really messed up. First the tagline disappeared and now this. Why were these features there in the beginning and then disappeared after I start using it?
