about ecommerce website 2D and 3D payment gateway

please help me. i make my own website ecommerce. then i want to register for 2d payment gateway. the client said my website is 3D enabled. not 2D. what is that mean? how can i make a 2D enabled website ecommerce?

What’s the URL of the site you’re working on? You’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and your account doesn’t have any sites that are hosted with us.
The only “3D” I’m aware of in terms of online payments, is 3DSecure, where someone can’t complete a credit card payment unless they provide a one-time code sent by their bank to verify the transaction. I’ve never heard of 2D payments.
In this case it will be best to contact support for the payment gateway plugin, or else the ecommerce plugin you’re using directly for help.

To add to what kokkieh explained before.
I understand there are 2D secure payment gateways that some plugins offer. Stores like Shopify require 3D Secure depending on your location, and won’t let you use only 2D, so most likely this is what’s happening.Regardless of that, it would be best to contact support for the payment directly as explained by kokkieh.
