I wish to know if once i choose a plan and i pay, my website will be hosted the whole year? or there are other requirements to get a hosted web without wordpress in its domain name?

It sounds like you are interested in a custom domain. You’ll need to upgrade to WordPress.com Personal and then register the domain you want to use.
We will still host the site. You will also see the .wordpress.com site address listed on your profile, as that is what connects the custom domain to your account. It isn’t going to go away, but your site viewers will only see the custom domain in their browser.
