  my about me section is not showing up on my profile page what do i need to do?

  The About me section appears only on your Gravatar profile page. If you want it to appear on the blog create an About page and copy paste the text into it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/

  Oops! I said only above but that’s not correct. Some ie. a very few themes will also display the “About me” section text from > Users > My Profile in Author profiles below posts.
