About Me???

I filled out the “About Me” section. I don’t know where it is. Can others see it when they read my blog? I’m sooooo confused. How do I put it on my blog page?

What page was the “About Me” that you filled out on? Was it in your Profile?
Please either give us a link to your blog or link your name to your blog; you do that on the Profile page, under “Website”. That way we can look and tell you if it shows up. Some themes have an About page, some don’t.

Wouldn’t you know I found it right after I posted this. After looking for a very long time. I really hate being a pest, but it’s kinda what I do.

There isn’t really an about me widget or anything. Some make their own using a text widget that they place in their sidebar and some create an “about me” page.

Yes, that’s what we need. Thank you. We spend FAR too much time answering questions for people who turn out to have blogs somewhere else. This saves us time.
The About Me that you filled out: was it on your Profile? If so, it won’t show up until you use the Author widget, when the info will turn up at the top of your posts when someone clicks on it.

I just tried five themes on my test blog, and my “author” name linked to the “about me” information on my profile page on only one of them, so it is highly theme specific. In one theme, Andreas09, it simply links to my main blog page, nothing else.
In the author’s widget, most just brought up an “author’s archive” when I clicked on my name.

The think is, to have your about me information available, no matter what theme you use, either put it in a text widget in your sidebar or make an “about me” page. There is too much inconsistency from theme to theme to rely on anything else.

Strange, my Author widget puts my one-line bio right at the top of the listings that it brings up.
