  I somehow messed with the CSS code and the About Me section is gone from my page. I am not sure how to fix it and I would really like an About Me link.

  your about page link should be username.wordpress.com/about. if you manage to get to your about page this way, just put the link into a text widget so it can appear in the sidebar.

  Go to Design>Widgets and create and save one there.

  My ‘about me’ is missing too, only I didn’t mess with the CSS. The link is still there but when I click on it, it acts like I clicked the other page for ‘home’. Problem started today (Sunday) as far as I can tell. Only recent change I’ve made is getting my own domain via WP.
