“ABOUT ME” in my sidebar

  I am new to this and would like for my About to start in my sidebar, right now I have placed “ABOUT” on my sidebar but it doesn’t show the content. Its just shows the topic “ABOUT” and you would have to click on it. I have seen other folks page where their “ABOUT” starts in the sidebar and you have the option to click on “MORE” if you would like to see the enire content of that page. how can I make my ABOUT start in the sidebar???

  You could put the text widget on the sidebar and fill in part of the About page there, but I’m not sure if you could like it to the actual page. You might not even have to if you kept the About page as it is. That’s how my site is in a way.

  Text Widget can show description about yourself or the blog on your sidebar.

  You may also like the Gravatar Widget; this lets you your avatar image along with some text.

  (Once you set your Gravatar image, it will also appear on the forums here – in place of your current geometric icon)

  I’m not seeing any text widget added to the site linked from your name here.
  Could you leave it there so we can troubleshoot?
  Also, did you see any error message or what kind of problem did you have adding it?
