About Me Page
-
I’d like to have an About Me and a Contact Page, not part of my normal posts to the front page but it’s own, separate page. I have an About Me option on the Menu that isn’t clickable with sub-options for About Me and Contact Me that are clickable. I have a write up on the page for About Me but it doesn’t show up on my website (it’s published). What am I missing? Also, I’m calling the About Me and Contact Me pages but maybe I have them set up as categories.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I have an About Me option on the Menu that isn’t clickable with sub-options for About Me and Contact Me that are clickable.
The “About Me” menu item on the site https://laurakseibel.wordpress.com is now working properly. It links to the “About Me” page, and there are no sub-menu items. Have you resolved this issue?
I have a write up on the page for About Me but it doesn’t show up on my website (it’s published).
The “About Me” page is presently visible, here: https://laurakseibel.wordpress.com/about-me/.

The “About Me” page is a static page. If it were a category page, then it would have an URL such as https://laurakseibel.wordpress.com/category/about-me/. I don’t find either a “Contact” page or a “Contact” menu item on the site.

I changed the menu this morning because I was able to figure out how to get my About Me write up to appear on the main About Me page vs the sub-page (which is what I really wanted but couldn’t figure out). I added a Contact Page to my menu with a write up but the write up isn’t appearing on my site. I do still prefer to have a non-clickable About Me on the menu with a sub-page for About Me with the actual write up and a sub-page for Contact Me with the actual write up. How can I create that?

I wouldn’t really recommend that, since non-clickable menu items can be confusing (especially on phones.) But if you really want to do it, here are the steps:
1) Create a custom link (instead of a link to a page or a post).
2) Put in any URL, and give it the name “About Me” . Add it to your menu as you’d like.
3) Edit the custom link from the menu. Remove the URL. Save your changes.
That should do. :)

@supernovia,
Thanks.I added a Contact Page to my menu with a write up but the write up isn’t appearing on my site.
There’s no content in your published Contact Page. Do you have another that’s presently unpublished?
with a sub-page for About Me with the actual write up and a sub-page for Contact Me with the actual write up. How can I create that?
If you create non-clickable top-level menu item as described by supernovia above, then you may nest sub-menu items below it as described in the Organize your menu and Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus sections of the Custom Menus support page.
