About me page (Canard theme)

    Hello, I’m very new to developing websites and I’m just stuck as level 1..

    I cannot figure out how to format what my main page looks like. I’ve learned that you get the grid on your main screen by tagging posts as featured, but I’ve done that and it hasn’t changed anything..

    All I can see when I go to my web address is the about me page, which is absolutely not the first thing I want to appear. I also cannot see a way to get to any of my posts from the about me page that comes up. Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp.

    I just want my website to look like the theme demo D:

    Featured content in Canard only works when the front page is set to display your latest posts. Since you’ve set your front page to be a static page, that’s why you’re not seeing the featured content.

    You can change your homepage to display your latest posts in the Customizer’s Static Front Page section or in WP Admin under Settings > Reading.

    Thanks that worked!! Now on to figuring out how to alter the tabs bar along the top of the page under the header…
