  Hi, I had a wordpress site: hillyhoppers.wordpress.com and I deleted it since i wanted to start over. I am not able to get the domain name again, can something be done about this?

  I’m afraid the deletion is permanent and irreversible – there is a big warning when you go through the delete process. You can either pick a new name for your site, or if you want to upgrade to a paid plan you can choose your own domain name (and drop the .wordpress.com bit from the end).
