  Hi. I made this blog and I’m currently using a free domain. Can I keep it or do I have to purchase a personal plan?

  You can certainly keep using the free domain, which includes.wordpress.com at the end.
  The only time you need to purchase a plan is if you are looking to add your own domain or you are looking for features that are not available within the free plan.
