'About' navigation link

I apologise at the start as I’m totally new to the blog world and I’m not overly competent on the computer. I only have a ‘home’ navigation link on the top of my page. I would like to add ‘about’ and ‘contact’ as in the matala demo. Can somebody help?

You may want to start by going through the Learn.WordPress.com tutorial. You can also look at the tutorial about creating new pages to learn how to create the “about” and “contact” pages that you want on your blog. Usually, new pages that you create will be automatically added to the navigation menu at the top of your page.

Thank you for your help I appreciate it. The new pages I have created aren’t being automatically added to the the navigation menu at the top of my page. Why would this be happening?

Have you tried refreshing the page? I just visited your blog and I saw the “about” and “contact” pages listed there in the navigation.
If they still aren’t showing up for you, you might want to try clearing your browser’s cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
