About page

  When my ‘About’ page is shared, on Facebook for example, it comes up with a blank square pic and with a standard ‘this page is an example’ text. I think this is something to do with the URL but can’t work out how to fix it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sounds like you need to flush your Facebook cache, actually.

  but it happened when a friend tried to share my ‘What’s the buzz’ URL, which is my ‘about’ page … ? (PS. How do I clear my FB cache anyway?)

  Well, someone has to do it. Facebook is clearly pulling from an old version of your blog that it stored some time ago. http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/

  I won’t disagree! But really, it’s just that we puzzled over this issue for ages and someone smarter than me found the solution. I just remembered it.
