About Page

  My blog, Blue Bulls & Bears, has no option to add an ‘About’ page. This option should be available. Please advise me on how to proceed.

  Hello @keagilem,

  How about we try a few steps as instructed below and see if you can add an ‘About’ page on to your site.

  First we need to create a page and then add it to the menu so that the viewers can navigate to your ‘About’ page from the home page.

  Here are a few steps to create or add a new page:
  1. To add a new page, navigate to My Site(s), then click Add next to Site Pages.
  2. You’ll now see the Editor, where you can add text, media, embeds, contact forms, or any other content for your page.
  3. Once you have added all the necessary content in the page editor, click on PUBLISH button (in pink color) on the top right corner of the screen.

  Now when you view the page, you will not be able to see the About page on the home page menu. The link below provides a detailed step by step set of instructions to add your a page of your choice to the menu. The link holds a good visual guide to make it easier for you to proceed.

  When I click on publish it publishes.

  Its just that there is no link to the About page from the Home or Contact pages.

  It has been created yet there is no link.

  Help please :-)

  That’s great. You have successfully created an About page.

  Its just that there is no link to the About page from the Home or Contact pages.

  You are not able to see this in the homepage menu because you have just one more step to work on. Once we create a page, we need to assign to a menu for it show on the home page along with your Home and Contact page. The link below provides a detailed step by step set of instructions to add your a page of your choice to the menu. The link holds a good visual guide to make it easier for you to proceed.

  Following the steps provided in the link should help you bring the About page on your homepage along with Home and Contact.
