"About" page can't be viewed

After uploading media and creating new pages, the About page can no longer be viewed. I can edit the content but it does not display. HELP!

Do me a favor, go to your WordPress.com dashboard, and go to Appearance > Menus

right, because you have a bunch of links in your menu.
But one of them should say “About” because you have a link on your menu called “About”

Yes, but when I click that, the examples you showed were not there. The page redirects to the last page I created, not the About page.

I don’t think you clicked on what I wanted you to click on.
In your wordpress.com dashboard, hover your mouse over Appearances and then click on Menus.
There, you should see a bunch of boxes, each one is a link on your website. One of them should say “About” and should look like one of the examples in the picture I shared.

I’m sorry but I’m just not seeing what you want. I get the Edit Menu screen, there’s the list of my pages, I click the box next to the About page and nothing comes up. Nothing changes.

I’m not asking you to click on anything once you get to the menu. I just want to know what it looks like.
Look at the link I shared. It’s a picture. Notice in my two examples one says “Page” and the other says “Custom Link”
I want to know, what does yours say? Does it say “Page” or “Custom Link”?

Okay, my page does not look like that. All I have is the list and boxes to the left. There is nothing on the right side of the page except Create Menu.

Okay, I went ahead and created a menu. It now looks like what you were after and it says “Page.”

Ok. I got nothin. I dont know why your menu page doesnt look like everyone elses. Ill tag this post for a mod to look at it.

that’s not her about page. If you right-click her “About” link and click copy URL and paste it, you’ll see that her About page is just linking to modernpearl.co

I’m guessing that instead of adding the About page to the menu, a custom link was added, named About but links to the main URL.
But her Menu page apparently doesn’t look like mine so I’m unclear as to how to help

Well, thanks anyway. I appreciate the effort. Everything was fine until I started adding new pages. That’s when I stopped being able to view the About page except on Dashboard.

Can I pick up the question where she left off?
My “About” doesn’t seem to work, either. It just shows my first and only post. On the “Menus” page from my dashboard, “Home” has “Custom Link” next to it, and “About” has “Page” next to it- The opposite of the picture you shared. Thanks. -
