  Hello @buttercreamdreamss,

  In order to add widgets to your WordPress.com site, Just select ‘Customize’ under ‘Personalize’ from your dashboard. Then click the ‘Customize’ button near your theme name.

  Now select Widgets, You can add and configure widgets from here. Publish the changes by clicking pubish button on the top.

  In order to install plugins in your WordPress.com site, you need to upgrade to Business plan.

  Hi buttercreamdreamss,

  Custom plugins are only supported on WordPress.com sites using the Business plan. Widgets are available on all plans and can be added from My Sites > Customise > Widgets:
