about posting comments

  How can we remove below notes on the “Leave a Comment” page:

  Comments may contain the following xhtml tags:
  <abbr title=””> <acronym title=””> <b>

  <cite> <del datetime=""> <i> <q cite=""> <strike>

  Are you referring to a free hosted wordpress.com blog. If so then please post the URL for the blog starting with http://

  Assuming you are referring to a wordpress.com free hosted blog then – you can’t without a CSS editing upgrade and I’m not sure if it can be done without one. Why would you want to deprive your commenters of being able to use HTML in comments?

  i am using Solobis actually. I do not really want to deprive them on HTML, because i believe most of them do not recognize or do not know how to write in HTML mode. So better to use the usual Visual mode for convenience.
  can u elaborate more how to remove it..

  Let me be crystal clear. We Volunteers answer forum questions don’t care if your blog is under construction. We simply do not wish to waste our time typing out lengthy answers ibto the three threads you posted all which lack the URL, only to belatedly discover that what we typed does not apply to your blog because it’s a wordpress.ORG install. 30% of those who post here are posting to the wrong forum because they do not read the sticky post at the head of the forum and that’s why we ask for the URL. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

  Please post the URL for the blog inquestion starting with http:// so we can be sure we give you correct answers as wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG run on different software.
