About starting a new blog
-
I’d like to start a personal blog. I’m already running a blog that I’ve written on for a while now, but I want the two to be completely separate – I just don’t want people to know that I write both. My family knows about my current blog, which I’m fine with, but writing about personal issues is a different matter. I’d like to keep those posts entirely anonymous if I can. Will I have to create a new account for that purpose? Thanks for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you will have to create a new account otherwise sooner or later someone will figure it out. Some themes even post the name of the author in every post.
-
Yes. Create a new account with a new password. (edit to add new account means using a new / different email address)
Never mention your private blog in your first blog. Never mention it to friends or family in conversation. Never leave your computer logged in and unattended.
-
Also don’t post any personal information in the anonymous blog: no real names or initials, no addresses, no business associations, no social media connected to your “real” self, no places you regularly visit, no schedules, and so on. Especially if the anonymous blog is not private. Also be sure that “location” is not enabled.

Thanks for the advice. I never post any personal information on my regular blog, so I certainly won’t on my personal one. I guess I have to come up with a new user name now. Thanks again.

Yes, and a new email.
Personally, IMO, it’s easy enough for me to write posts and pages for work blogs and sites, but when it comes to separating a personal blog from my (now neglected) public blog, that is difficult.
