about the domain

    i want to buy the domain and connect to my website. do i have to subscibe for a plan so that my domain will connect to the domain? or what if i just buy the domain and it will connect to my website with out subscribe any plan

    Hi there,

    To use a custom address on your WordPress.com site you will need one of the plans listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    It is not possible to buy just a domain, so you will need one of our plans (to remove the ‘wordpress.com’ URL from your site) but if you do not have a domain already, one is provided for you for free under your plan.
