about the text color

    I set the text color to black, but when I publish the article, the text color is dark grey. How can I set the text color to black? thank you!

    Can you direct me to the posts where the colour of the text is not changing please?

    The reason why I ask is because I can see that the text is black on most of the posts and pages on the site.

    yes, I am referring to the home page.

    When I edit it , the preview is like this:

    where the texts are black in color.

    But when it is published, the text are dark grey in colour.

    When we view your site, the text is black in color.

    Here’s a screenshot of the browser inspector of that block of text showing that the text is indeed black (CSS color:rgb(0,0,0);) when we view the site.

    You can verify this if you pull your site up in an incognito window or in another browser you don’t normally use.

    Since the default color in that theme is a dark gray, refresh your browser cache to update your text color change.

    For that you would need to upgrade to at least a WordPress.com Premium subscription in order to modify your site’s CSS to change that default. You can review the different plan levels here:

    Let us know if you upgrade and we can help provide the CSS you would need to use.
