    Born out of a cluster of Junior Secondary Schools, Dagbon State Senior High Technical School was established as a co-educational institution in January 1991 in conformity with the on-going Educational Reforms at that time Captioned (FCUBE), Free Compulsory Universal Basic Education with Prince Iddrisu Kunzemdoo as the first Headmaster (1991 – 1998). Unfortunately he was called to eternity on the 10th of December 1998 at Yendi Government Hospital. He was buried in Kpatuya a village near the school.

    iii. LOCATION

    The school is situated in the Eastern part of Yendi – on the Yendi Zabzugu road directly opposite Yendi Senior High School
