Dear friends,
I just want free version, not upraded. I just want a free version of my website, if it’s possible?
I thought it will be a free version of website.
Also, I’m interested, how to see my site completed.
I mean, now I have prepare 5 peges, but they are separated at the moment.
Is it possible to have completed website with Home page, and other sections on it? -
Hi there,
I just want a free version of my website
If you start to create your site, there are one or two options for free domain names, listed under the recommended domain name. When you are asked to select a plan, there is an option to have a free plan at the top of the page.
You can also publish the site for free. When you go to make your site live, it will ask again if you want to buy a domain name or a plan, but there are options to keep the free domain name and plan.
If you want to try out features of the paid plans, that will require you to upgrade, but WordPress offers a full 30-day refund on all plans if you aren’t happy with it. You can read more about plans here: https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/now I have prepared 5 pages, but they are separated at the moment.
I’m not sure what you mean. Do you mean you prepared them on WordPress.com, or that you wrote the content on another app (Word for example), planning to copy it over?
Do you want these five pages to be separate, or do you want the information on them to all be on one page? You can have them all on one page by copying the content of one page and pasting it into another. Is it possible to have completed website with Home page, and other sections on it?
I believe you mean, having more than one page, with navigation bars with links to each page? This is possible, yes.
If you want to edit what’s written on a page, go to My Site > Site > Pages and select the page you want to edit.
There’s a support post on this: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/
If you want to go to the Customiser (which is where you’ll add navigation bars in the ‘Menu’ section) you can go to My Site > Design > Customise.
The support post about customising your website is https://wordpress.com/support/customize/.
You can also check out video tutorials on customisation at https://wordpress.com/support/video-tutorials/customize-your-site/
And find out more about menus at https://wordpress.com/support/menus/.Or, do you mean that you wanted to have different sections within the Homepage? You can do this by adding headings. Go to the editor for your homepage, and type
/headinginto a new block. Or, click on the insert block icon (the plus), and type in heading to the search bar. You can find it under Common Blocks. https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/heading-block/Or look at the support pages on setting up your site:

Hi,
Thank you very much for your fast answer.
I lynched my site (I mean, I clicked: “Lynch site), but I didn’t realize payment, because I realized that I want free option.
But, today as soon as I log on, I got this: “Your chart is awaiting payment”
So, I am interested, is it still possible to have free option, and what I have to do?
Is it enough to click an option free domain with a plan at the top of the page?
Because, when I click it, I got:
“First year free with your plan
Renewal: 18 dollars/year”So, I’m not sure is it free, or I must pay after one year, and also, when I clicked this, they wrote about 60 dollars, so I really don’t understand.
That’s why I didn’t continued with register and published my website.
About 5 pages:
I prepared them on WordPress.com, so I have them (with all the materials – photos and illustrations) on my Dashboard.
And, when I go to Home page through the Dashboard, and when I click: Preview, I can see how the website looks like, and everything working – I mean, navigation bars with links to each page, so I can see the whole content on every page.
So, I thought when I click: Lynch site, I could see my website as classic website – Home page with all the pictures with navigation bars with links to each page.
Instead of that, I just have an empty page with: Nothing found… Ready to publish your first post.
That’s the reason I didn’t finished the whole process, and also, because of this, payment issue.
So, what will be the next steps, I mean, what I need to do, to lynch free site?
Thank you for the answer and for understanding,
Best regards,
Djordje -
Hi there,
So, I’m not sure is it free, or I must pay after one year
From what I understand, the plans and domain names are renewed separately. If you purchased a paid plan then you get a free custom domain for one year, then after that you will need to renew both the domain name and the plan. I believe this is annual.
I realized that I want free option.
Only staff are able to resolve payment/refunding issues, so I’ve tagged this thread for staff attention. It would be helpful if you could give information such as the URL of your site.
Nothing found… Ready to publish your first post.
Sometimes this is down to your Customiser not being published. You can publish it by going to My Site > Design > Customise and selecting ‘Save Changes’.
If this doesn’t work and this message still appears, please give the URL of your site, as well other information such as which browsers you are using, etc., and any changes you had made before this error began. (For example, had you just added a new widget/page/post?)Thank you for your patience.

Hi there,
What exactly do you need help with? You haven’t paid us for anything yet, so there is nothing to refund.
Your account currently owns only one free site, http://arrcchhi.wordpress.com/

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your answer.
I don’t expect nothing to refund, because I didn’t pay anything jet, as you wrote.
I’m asking this because, when I log and check my account, I get this information: Your chart is awaiting payment (that’s why I wasn’t do I have some obligation, I thought that maybe I clicked something by mistake or something … so this confuses me a bit).I’m just needed confirmation that it’s not necessary to pay.
But, thanks, you wrote: „Your account currently owns only one free site”, so, I just need to activate this website.
And, my question is: How can I do this – what steps do I need to make?I’m just interested how to activate my site, and to have classic – Home page with all the connected section, because, I have all of them in my Dashboard, already prepared.
I mean, how can it be visible as a regular website: Homepage with all connected sections.Thank you very much once again for your answer, and for your patience.

Hi there,
Correct, there is no obligation to pay. You must’ve accidentally added an upgrade to your shopping cart, but you can take it out or ignore it altogether.
But, thanks, you wrote: „Your account currently owns only one free site”, so, I just need to activate this website.
And, my question is: How can I do this – what steps do I need to make?Have you tried to click the launch button at https://wordpress.com/checklist/https://arrcchhi.wordpress.com/? If so, there should be an option to choose the free blog URL as opposed to an upgrade.
You should be also available to launch the site by going to https://wordpress.com/settings/general/https://arrcchhi.wordpress.com/.
Please let me know if you have any questions or issues.
Thanks,

Hi,
Thank you very much for you quick answer.
I tried second link.
I guess I should click “Free domain with a plan”
And, when I done it, I got the page with:
First year free with your plan
Renewal: $18.00 /yearWhat is the next step? Should I click: “Select” or something else?
Also, is this free just for one year, and after that I should pay, or…?I’m sorry for too much questions, I just want to do it correct.
And also, when I finally finished the process, I hope I can see website as a regular/classic, I mean: Homepage with other sections?
Thank you very much once again for you kind answers and for your patience

The domain will remain free as long as you keep a paid plan. If you choose not to renew your paid plan, you’ll have the option to renew just the domain for $18/year.
If you would like a custom domain and a paid plan, then yes selecting the domain would be next.
