‘About you’ section

Hey there, I updated my ‘about you’ section about 3 weeks ago and it hasn’t updated on my homepage of my blog. I’ve retried doing it over the past few days and it still won’t change.
Any ideas?

Are you referring to the information on your Profile page? If so then do be aware that only a few themes display it. What the majority of us do is crate a static page About page. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/

To edit your about page, you need to go to dashboard —> pages —>select your “about” page —> edit —> update
You should see your changes immediately.
Are you editing your profile under “users” on your dashboard? If so, then you should be aware that the info you put there will appear only when one hovers over your gravatar.

If you look at the homepage of my blog, next to my gravatar there is a box of info which appears regardless of hovering over the grav. I’ve edited this in my profile settings and it hasn’t changed.

Ahh now we see what you mean. You have entered that information into the “Header” widget. > Apearance > Widgets > Header
and ought to be able to edit it at any time. What happens when you open the Header widget and text widget inside it? -
In the theme you are using, I believe what you are referring to isn’t an About You page but is your rss widget. Where exactly are you editing it?
