Abstract of posts in home page

  I am using Ixion theme, and in my home page you can find my most recent posts. I can only manage to show the title, but I would like to show an abstract of the content of each specific post in the page.

  I’ve looked it up and it is supposed to work adding the “Read more” tag, which I’ve tried to do, but it still only shows the titles.

  On the recent posts section I can see the post titles, post excerpt and the read more link showing up. Did you resolve this by yourself?
