ABSUSIVE / HATERED LANGUAGE

I have been receiving from unknown user by sending a threatening, disturbing messages using my post on WP. I have saved the message, I like to have email to forward it to you. This is such dangerous message.
I appreciate your assistance.

If you feel threatened you should contact your local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, most now have cyber crime sections and can advise you on keeping safe

Thank you for responding back to my message. I did reached out to the police earlier today, they highly suggested to reach out to wordpress security or technical support team to prevent from this user to add any false statement which can destroy my reputation. Please help me to block and prevent from this user to do such speech harassment on my professional page.

You can set the comments to require moderation so nothing displays on your site you don’t approve of – you can also blacklist the person
dashboard >> Settings >> Discussion
Note on the blacklist – blacklisting by IP numbers is not recommended as most people do not have static IP addresses, also note there is no way to keep a person from visiting your site unless your site is set to private (keep everyone out but those you invite in) – but that defeats the purpose of most web sites

As auxclass mentioned, you can also add information about that person or keywords from their message to your comment blacklist to avoid seeing those messages again. You can see our support page about Unwanted Comments and Comment Spam for more details.
I see that you also chatted with staff about this issue, and you can follow up with their recommendations as well. I am going to go ahead and close this forum thread, as there is nothing more we can do to help with this issue in the public forums here.
