Abusive Link

  On July 31, I had the following link added to my blog:

  Darknest
  31 Jul 2008 by Gogol
  darknest tags: darknest darknest links: [links removed by staff]

  —-
  As soon as it opened it immediately begins a virus scan…not sure exactly how.
  I want to remove it, but in a note from wordpress, I was told it is not possible, because it was created through google…(it is spelled gogol in the above link)

  Anything I can do or should I even worry?

  What is the URL of your blog and how was the link “added” to your blog?

  The link shows up in my dashboard:

  “Incoming Links See All | rss icon RSS”

  I don’t think is visible to the public, but it is in my dashboard.

  Incoming links are webpages linking to you. Your readers will not see them.

  I guess I was hoping to be able to eliminate “unwanted sites from linking to me”..don’t really want a spam/parasite linking to my site—even if others don’t see it

  These links have serious red flags of harmful sites

  tagging it for the moderators to remove.

  rumeryjo do not click on those links anymore.

  I would goto support tab for this issue
  hopefully they can remove these links from your dash
  enter the link of this thread if you can as well
