Academica Theme Post Slider Malfunction
-
The Post Slider on Academica is not showing any featured images. I’ve used the tag feature as described in the Academica description page, and have featured images in the posts I’d like to feature. But there is nothing but a blank page at the top of my blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Scroll down to “Post Slider – Feature your Content” on that page. Note that image sizes are critical in the case display in sliders. Featured images in the sticky posts slider are 960 by 300, but are fixed in height and width.
All other featured images are 120 width, and 80 in height. These images are displayed on posts on the home page, on archive pages, and on the search results page.Academica
Featured Images will appear above the post on all views and fill the maxium width of the content area. http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/Settings a featured image http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image
If you don’t see the page attributes module then make sure that you don’t have it hidden in your screen options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ -
P.S. No header image is set in the live demo, instead some posts have featured images and a tag that make them appear in a slider only on the home page.

Thanks – I went back and followed the instructions again. I think where I went wrong was that I saw there was already a tag listed, so I did not hit “save.” Hitting save this time in the customize panel activated the post slider… but now, there’s a new problem. The large center display of my recent posts has disappeared. Only widgets appear on the home page below the post slider. What happened?
