accented characteres are not well displayed in emails

  Hi,
  When I add an article on my blog : http://factualplay.wordpress.com/ a email is send to those you have subscribe. The problem is that the accented characteres are not well displayed in those emails.

  In the configuration, my settings are set to French. I cannot figure out what else I can do.

  Can you help me?
