Hi there,
We have indeed been rolling out some changes to one of our post editors, and we will be iterating on those changes some more over the coming weeks and months to provide a smoother and more logical way of posting.
In regards to your question regarding accents, you can actually add them directly from your keyboard. It looks like you wrote in to us from a Mac. If you press and hold the letter which you want to accent (such as an “n”), a small window will appear with the accent options that you can select.
The Apple site has some additional information on how to do so:

Thank you for your response.
With regards to the changes, I am confused and wonder if there are
instructions or explanations of the changes as
I recently posted on my blog and can’t figure out
why it didn’t reach my “shared” sites. I had to do it manually. Thanks

We don’t have any instructions or official announcement/explanation for the change at this time. When the final version of the post editor is released there should be an announcement to accompany it, however it’s not quite at that point yet.
In regards to the sharing on social media, it should have as long as the Sharing module on the right of the screen had each of your sharing options selected. Did you happen to check if they had those options checked?
