Accepted followers still viewed as 'waiting' in the new user list.

At least two of the people I have invited to follow the blog and who I have accepted as administrator are still listed as ‘waiting’ in the user list. They have both set up their wordpress accounts and have received a confirmation email to say they have been accepted.
When they login into the blog they are unable to post comments.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
