So, the screenshot you uploaded shows a user with the name pneill521 as being logged in. However, that user is not listed as an author for your site. You do have a user listed as an author with the username pneill5. So, either the user name got entered incorrectly, or she has multiple accounts and is logged into the wrong one.
Either way, you will either have to add pneill521 as an author or your user will need to log into the pneill5 account in order to be able to post on your blog.
Does that make sense?

well she has been accepted.. but now neither of us can post.

That is very odd and I cannot think of a reason why that would have happened. I see your site just fine when I visit http://jeffctrnews.com/. Are you sure that you haven’t logged into a self-hosted WordPress site somehow? Try going to WordPress.com directly to log in.

I do, however, see pneill521 as a user on your site now. So at least that part is straightened out.

ok, I went to:

and that did not work,
I added login, and I was prompted to login..
…STILL… cannot post! -

That is very odd.
My first suggestion would be to log out, clear cache and cookies, and log back in. Or, try using a different browser and see if the problem repeats itself.
I can see no reason why you shouldn’t be able to log into your site’s dashboard. What is the exact message you see on screen when you try to visit: https://jeffctrnewsdotcomdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

I get logged in.. it all looks proper with my name and the word post at the right hand side top. When I click on Post, It even takes me to the page to choose text, photo, link, and the other one, but when I click on any of them.. nothing further even happens. It gives NO message error, and No options other. Just a STILL page stares back at me!
I do not know how to go about removing cookies…can you instruct?

What happens if you log in, then go to: https://jeffctrnewsdotcomdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and then click Posts–> Add New.

How incredibly frustrating and strange.
Okay, just to keep trying common things, what happens if you log in with a different browser? Chrome or Firefox for example.

I tried something different…
I used my I-pad on the train on the way to work and I was able to “write” on text!So now I am trying to get in touch with Internet services here and see
if they have blocked us somehow…. I will get back to you when I get through and I get an answer! -

OK!!!
All is FINALLY well here.
I called a ‘friend’ in our IT dept. and he checked this gal’s computer. He found a virus…. and he found that he had to create another browser for her… and he opened her up a Fire fox browser! She is now posting! Can you believe all this? Thank you for your help and insights. I figured something was wrong here.. since I could get to the site from my I-pad!. Finally, a resolution. I am sure you will be happy too! Dee -
