  Hi, I would like to create a website in south africa with subscription feature.
  Do I need to pay extra for this feature or is it free with the Business Plan?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  The Payments feature requires any of the WordPress.com Plans and you can find the related transactions fees here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/#related-fees

  Outside of transaction fees, you do not need to pay anything additional to use the feature outside of the plan subscription. For more information on Payment Subscriptions, please visit:

  Thank you for your reply.

  I understand the transaction fees,
  I am mainly concerned being in South Africa and wanting to mostly accept subscription payments from South Africans, would I then need to get the Ecommerce plan for this or would I still be able to accept subscription payments from South Africans with the Business Plan.

  Apologies, I don’t know anyone else that can help me with this question.

  Our Payments feature uses Stripe for payment processing, so you would need to check whether or not your local currency is supported:
