I am having a hard time with wordpress. I created a free site awhile back. Then I bought a domain through bluehost and it uses the wordpress site as well. How do I link these accounts? It will let me sign into wordpress for my first, free account but then it will not let me see my domain/bought account. Also, what do I need to do to sign into wordpress and work on my domain? It wont let me.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think here is the issue you are facing,

You signup for a free website a while face which was having domain something.wordpress.com
Then you purchase d domain and hosting from bluehost. The hosting has preinstalled wordpress.
Now you want to point he newly purchased domin to your old free web account so now your old free web account seem to be millionchances.org

If yes, in that case you will have to purchase a minimum of personal plan from wordpress.com and will have to point your domain name to wordpress.com nameserver.

You can check the pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Please let me know if i am wrong.

Hello there @aprilhicks13, if what you are trying to do is log in to your WordPress site with hosting at Bluehost, simply add /wp-admin/ to your domain URL, so http://millionchances.org/wp-admin/

If you want to manage your Bluehost WordPress site from the WordPressdotcom dashboard, you’ll want to install the Jetpack plugin on your WP site at Bluehost. More about Jetpack here: https://jetpack.com/

Just to clarify, WordPress comes in 2 flavors: the fully hosted WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and the open source WordPress (org) project at https://wordpress.org This support guide explains some of the differences between them: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You can find all the support information for sites using the WP (org) software at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page. I also suggest searching the forums there for a similar issue before posting.

Lastly, if you want to use your custom domain with a site here at WordPressdotcom, then the reply from @alsiseeds points you in the right direction to map your custom domain to your WordPressdotcom site. More about domain mapping (which is included in every upgrade plan) here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Let us know if you have any other question about this.
