access codes to my website

  Hi! I contracted a company to set up my website last year and they are not keen on giving me (and I am embarrassed to ask) the access codes for my website. It is my website and I pay for the domain, so I would like to be able to access it and perhaps use another web designer to update the page.
  Please could you help. Thank you

  Before we try to help you we must know the URL of your site as we can only help with sites running on the wordpress.com platform.

  Your site is not hosted here, on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
